Dr. Mehrad Sadeghpour, better known to his patients as “Dr. Rod,” has called North Texas home since the age of four and has served Denison & the Texoma community for the last three years.
Confronted with numerous dental issues growing up, Dr. Rod had many appointments at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, where dental care was a more affordable option for his family. As one of the “regulars” there, he couldn’t help but become fascinated by the dental students learning around him. Twenty years later, Dr. Rod found himself on the other side of that dental chair, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at that very school.
After graduating dental school, Dr. Rod was accepted into residency at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, where he served as “Chief Resident” and received advanced training in dental implants and prosthodontics. He later completed a fellowship with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry’s MaxiCourse, where he trained in treating complex cases with sinus lifts, bone grafting and regeneration, and soft tissue grafting.

Dr. Rod served as one of the leading doctors of the nation’s largest dental implant provider, being awarded their new “Dentist of the Year” award in 2019. It was there that he solidified his passion for helping patients restore their smiles and ability to chew again with the help of dental implants and dental prosthetics - all at prices they could afford.
Dr. Rod believes everyone is deserving of a beautiful smile at an affordable price, resulting in a better quality of life.
When he’s not at the office treating his patients, you can find Dr. Rod cooking (he’s determined to go to culinary school one day), traveling (he’s been to over 40 countries), interior designing (he has designed nearly the entire Texoma Dentures & Implants office), and building (anything from computers to furniture), among many other things. When you meet him, you’ll realize these hobbies barely scratch the surface!
